Every surface that wants it must ask for it by name.
Change it there, and every page wearing it changes. Nothing here is coloured by hand.

Every distance on this page is one of six numbers: 8 · 16 · 24 · 40 · 80 · 120.
There is no lattice behind the rain — every column rains its own number at its own tempo: the small numbers patter, the large ones stride, and at every 120 the rain tolls three digits deep.
Nothing is eyeballed into place.
Rhythm is what a measure feels like when it repeats.
Exactly six sizes, and no seventh
The system speaks in exactly six sizes — 36 · 24 · 16 · 14 · 9 · 7 — and no seventh.
Each voice has a job: the display announces, the headline declares, the lead leads, the body carries, the caption captions, the code annotates.
